Russian Language Courses at Russian Cultural Centre

In September Russian Cultural Centre starts a new season of Russian Language Classes. We’ll be offering group classes for beginners 2 times a week, 3-4 students in a group maximum. The initial entry level course will have a little over 40 sessions, which will allow students to master the basics of the Russian language. For students with more profound knowledge of Russian we are still offering individual classes that meet the student’s needs better.

Russian language courses are designed to attain oral, listening, reading and writing proficiency in Russian language. Core language courses feature grammar and lexical study, phonetics, contemporary Russian language, and the development of vocabulary and conversation skills. Advanced language courses are designed to improve students’ proficiency in Russian language and make them feel comfortable with different features of the language.

Free Introductory Russian Language course

Russian Cultural Centre is offering Introductory Russian Language course starting fall 2008. Everyone who is interested in attaining oral and written knowledge of the Russian language is welcome to join. The course will cover such aspects as Cyrillic alphabet, reading and writing skills, basic grammar, conversational Russian and more. Students will meet twice a week (Wednesdays and Fridays from 7PM to 9PM) from September till November 2008 (a total of 60 hours). Upon completing the course students will take a Russian language test and receive certificates issued by Russian Cultural Centre. Russian Kids Club

Starting March 2008 Russian Cultural Centre has opened doors to Russian Kids Club for pre-school children. Please join our Russian language playgroup every day from 9AM to 3PM for Russian storytelling time, arts and crafts, nature studies and more.
